Founded in 1976, Ateliers BG specializes in the fabrication of machined parts catering to the various large scale manufacturing plants located in the Eastern Township area. To better address our customer’s increasing needs, the company expanded it’s floor surface from 1984 to 1995. During this rapid expansion period, the company also acquired several new technologies to enhance production such as CNC (Computer Numerical Control) lathes, machining centers and many other specialized tools.
We are continually looking for ways to better serve our customers and to further this goal the company obtained the ISO 9002-94 quality assurance certification in 1998 and ISO 9001 certification in 2000.
Between 2001 and 2005, the company once again experienced rapid growth and had to expand production capacity to meet customer needs. To do so, the company purchased additional land and proceeded to build a new manufacturing plant. This new plant increased the manufacturing space by 18,000 square feet, and was expanded once again in 2005 by 9,000 square feet.
With this increased capacity, Ateliers BG was now able to offer more services such as welding, shotblasting (jet system), industrial and heavy equipment painting and machine assembly. The company also received CWB (W47.1 Div. 2
and CSA-W59) certifications.
